I really don't think Donna gives herself enough credit for the dedication she has to the sport of mountain biking. Even on work days, she's out in the morning putting her arms, legs, lungs and stomach through some serious wrenching as she climbs to the top of the ridge line above Newbury Park. Yes, there are other people who do it too, but there are tons of people who don't - something I think she frequently forgets.
Fortunately I think her enjoyment of the sports helps her to ignore the twinges of nausea from the short, insanely steep pitches and the burning in her legs and lungs.
