Between a rock and a hard place

We opted to take the shortcut into Sycamore Canyon - the 'long' way around is bearable when we're on the bikes but when traveling by foot, it just seems to be a waste of time. Plus, Donna REALLY wanted to get to the bathroom at the trailhead.
